Jakarta — Prabowo Subianto, the President-elect for the 2024-2029 term, is determined to ensure the efficient execution of the program that provides free nutritious meals to school children, without any leakage. This was discussed in detail during an exclusive interview with tvOne titled “Prabowo Subianto Speaks for Indonesia,” which aired on Wednesday evening (22/5).
According to Prabowo, the budget for the nutritious meal program for students has been carefully calculated, and he is confident in its implementation. He mentioned that the focus is not just on the organization of the program, but also on the system and scheme to ensure its accurate delivery to the children.
Prabowo highlighted his commitment to prevent any leaks in the program’s implementation under his administration. He emphasized the importance of creating an efficient and leak-free scheme to benefit the children.
In terms of distributing free milk to children nationwide, Prabowo explained that it will be tailored to the specific characteristics of each region. For example, in Southwest Maluku, Moa Island, where buffalo milk is abundant, the distribution will be focused on utilizing this local resource.
However, in regions where obtaining milk may be a challenge, the distribution will be adjusted to ensure equitable access to other nutritious foods like fish and eggs. Prabowo emphasized the importance of flexibility in the distribution of nutritious food and free milk to children in Indonesia, taking into account the diverse typologies of each region.
By adapting plans to suit the unique conditions of different regions, Prabowo aims to ensure that all children receive access to nutritious food. He stressed the need for flexibility, considering the various geographical features across Indonesia, and reaffirmed the goal of providing quality nutrition to the nation’s children.
