Jakarta — Prabowo Subianto, the Indonesian Minister of Defense and President-elect for the 2024-2029 period, graced the unveiling ceremony of the Indonesian national team’s jersey for the 2024 Paris Olympics. The event took place at Nusantara Garden, The Dharmawangsa Hotel, South Jakarta, on Friday (5/6).
Prabowo made his entrance at the launch event at 5:30 PM local time and was warmly welcomed by Raja Sapta Oktohari, the Chairman of the Indonesian Olympic Committee (KOI), Anindya Bakrie, the Chef de Mission for the Indonesian contingent to the 2024 Paris Olympics, and the Minister of Youth and Sports, Dito Ariotedjo.
Upon his arrival, Prabowo greeted the guests and together with them, admired the “Red and White Jersey” designed by Didit Hediprasetyo for the Indonesian national team competing in the Paris 2024 Olympics, which was showcased at the exhibition.
“Yes, I received an invitation. It’s the Olympic jersey for our team. I think it’s good,” stated Prabowo.
He expressed his optimism for the Indonesian team to give their best performance, filled with spirit and confidence at the Paris 2024 Olympics.
The primary colors incorporated by Didit in the jersey design are red and white, with the Garuda bird emblem prominently displayed on the left chest.
Officially presented on Thursday (4/7/2024), the Indonesian team’s jersey for the 2024 Paris Olympics has been widely praised.
