Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto provided guidance to 906 cadet officers from the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and National Police (Polri) at Balai Sudirman, South Jakarta, on Friday (12/7).
Addressing the cadets, Prabowo emphasized the noble calling of serving as a TNI or Polri officer, reminding them of the sacrifices and willingness required in their profession.
He urged the cadets to always defend Indonesia, emphasizing the importance of their role in safeguarding the nation and its people.
Prabowo also highlighted the national goals outlined in the preamble of the 1945 Constitution, emphasizing the need to protect the Indonesian nation, advance welfare, and ensure the country’s safety and protection before focusing on development projects like skyscrapers, airports, railways, and dams.
