Prabowo Subianto, Indonesia’s Minister of Defense and President-Elect for 2024-2029, expressed optimism about the progress of the Nusantara Capital project during a Cabinet Meeting in East Kalimantan. He mentioned that the atmosphere was very positive and promising, and he believes that the development should be accelerated.
Despite the fact that completing the Nusantara Capital will take many years, Prabowo is confident that with the collaboration of experts, the project could be fully operational within 4-5 years. He emphasized the importance of mobilizing all resources and capabilities to ensure the success of the project.
In his role as President-Elect, Prabowo has reaffirmed his commitment to fulfilling the Nusantara Capital project in line with President Jokowi’s vision and mission. He acknowledged the historic role played by President Jokowi as the initiator of the project and pledged to continue and potentially complete it during his term.
