Jakarta — Mardiono, Chairman of the United Development Party (PPP), has declared his commitment to support the upcoming administration of President and Vice President-elect Prabowo-Gibran for the 2024-2029 term.
This commitment was conveyed directly to Prabowo during a political courtesy visit at his residence on Jl. Kertanegara No. 4, South Jakarta, on Thursday evening (15/8).
“PPP’s only reason is to support President-elect Prabowo Subianto so he can carry out the work programs that the Indonesian people are waiting for, especially those aimed at accelerating the welfare of the Indonesian people,” Mardiono said after the meeting.
“Therefore, PPP is committed to supporting the new President, Mr. Prabowo Subianto,” he added.
Mardiono also expressed his commitment to support local elections at the provincial and municipal levels.
“We have a commitment with the Gerindra Party to cooperate in local elections, both at the provincial and municipal levels, which has been ongoing since the nomination process,” Mardiono concluded.
Mardiono and the PPP delegation also expressed their gratitude for being received during the brief political courtesy visit.
“We thank you for welcoming us to the residence of President-elect Prabowo Subianto for this meeting,” said Mardiono.
