Honorable guests,
I am honored to stand before you today on this auspicious occasion of the Inauguration of the President and Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia for the 2024-2029 term. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to all the dignitaries, heads of state, and representatives of friendly nations who have graced us with their presence today.
I would like to acknowledge the presence of esteemed leaders from various countries, including His Majesty the Sultan of Brunei Darussalam, the President of the Republic of the Philippines, the Prime Ministers of Cambodia, Korea, Malaysia, Papua New Guinea, Serbia, Singapore, the Solomon Islands, Timor Leste, Vanuatu, and many others. I also extend my respects to the special envoys and ambassadors who have traveled from afar to be here with us today.
Today, my running mate Brother Gibran Rakabuming Raka and I have taken an oath before the entire Indonesian nation and before Almighty God to uphold our constitution, implement the laws of the land, and serve our country and people to the best of our abilities. We will lead the government with sincerity, prioritizing the interests of all Indonesians.
As we embark on this journey, we are aware of the challenges and threats facing our nation. Despite our vast resources and potential, we must confront obstacles with courage and determination. I urge my fellow countrymen to be brave, to face challenges head-on, and to work together for the betterment of our nation.
Our history is a testament to our strength, resilience, and heroism. Let us draw inspiration from our past as we navigate the future. Together, we can overcome any challenges that come our way.
In conclusion, I would like to express my gratitude to the Indonesian people for their trust and support. I pledge to serve our country with integrity, honesty, and dedication. Let us work together to build a brighter future for Indonesia.
