Prabowo Subianto, chairman of the Gerindra Party and the newly elected president for the 2024-2029 term, recently attended the 65th birthday celebration of Titiek Soeharto at her residence in Menteng, Jakarta. The event, which took place on Sunday evening (14/4), was a modest affair marked by a tumpeng cutting ceremony.
Dressed in a long-sleeved batik shirt with brown and black motifs, Prabowo arrived at 8:00 PM WIB and was warmly welcomed by his son Didit and Ahmad Muzani, the General Secretary of the Gerindra Party and Vice Chairman of MPR RI.
During the celebration, Titiek expressed her gratitude to her family and friends for attending and wished for a long life of continued service to the community. As the tumpeng cutting ceremony began, Prabowo suggested that the first slice be given to Titiek’s sister, Tutut Soeharto, before receiving the second slice himself.
In a congratulatory message to Titiek, Prabowo praised her efforts in Yogyakarta and thanked all the guests for their support. He also shared moments from the celebration on his Instagram page @prabowo, wishing Titiek a happy birthday and expressing his hope for her continued service to the nation.
The event concluded with a heartwarming photo of Prabowo with Titiek and Didit. Throughout the evening, Prabowo took the time to greet and chat with various guests, including members of the Gerindra Party, the Prabowo-Gibran National Campaign Team, former government officials, and celebrities like Maia Estianty and Deddy Corbuzier.
