Dito: Free Health Checks Show President’s Commitment to Next Gen

Minister of Youth and Sports Dito Ariotedjo recently visited SMK Negeri 26 Jakarta in Rawamangun, East Jakarta to oversee the implementation of the Free Health Check in Schools (CKG Sekolah) program. This initiative is part of a nationwide launch occurring simultaneously in 12 educational institutions across Indonesia. The program, a gift from President Prabowo Subianto, aligns with the Ministry of Youth and Sports’ vision to enhance the physical fitness of the Indonesian population under the Asta Cita development framework. Minister Dito highlighted that data gathered from the CKG program will guide policies promoting healthy lifestyles among students, aiming to cultivate a physically and mentally strong generation. The visit also included notable figures such as the Secretary General of the Ministry of Health, representatives from the Presidential Communication Office, and accomplished athletes. During the visit, 131 tenth-grade students received health screenings, with a goal of examining a total of 1,600 students over several days. The program includes measurements of various health aspects and educational sessions on clean living habits. The CKG initiative, part of President Prabowo’s reformed national healthcare system, targets the entire population, particularly the 53.8 million students across all education levels. Since its rollout in February 2025, over 16 million Indonesians have benefited from the program, showcasing its promise to provide equal healthcare access and contribute to the vision of Golden Indonesia 2045.
